Thanks for your comment, Rick. It is both, in that our culture shapes boys to express their trauma outwardly, and girls to express their trauma inwardly. That's why more men engage in violent acts than women do, and why more women have auto-immune diseases than men. However, on an individual level, men and women each have the capacity for violence, because they are indeed, homo sapiens.
