We have developed a 10 week group programme using a Trauma Informed model to educate Parents who have experienced high ACEs on their own resilience and protective behaviours and to help them develop skills to develop resilience in their own children. We are currently training facilitators ( front line workers) to run the programme with clients from a range of settings - does anyone think there would be interest if we came to the states ??

We are doing something very similar it would seem here in Lebanon, PA. A community partner of ours for many years has provided parenting classes. Last year they approached us to partner and inject a trauma-informed model into the classes. Still piloting and making changes, and applied for a grant that will help us improve our evaluation of the program. Love seeing this movement spread!

Iâm in Oklahoma and we are just now beginning to recognize the impact of ACE on children. It is definitely impacting the foster care system. I would be very interested in joining this discussion.
I've been a bit slow in responding sorry ! We are so excited that finally in th eUK these seems to be taking off - I'm going to try and get some funding to visit some areas next year (2019) to share practice and learn - anyone fancy a visit ?
