Hello! I am assistant professor of English at a large, Midwestern community college and am looking to connect with colleagues in higher education who are interested in sharing resources about ways you or your institution use research on ACEs and/or TIC methodology to improve student success on campus. Would folks be interested in joining a dedicated networking community or listserv around this issue? Thank you!

I have always been surprised that there aren't studies looking at how ACEs affect students in Higher Education.
Yes, we are looking at ACES and student success/retention at our institution!
As a doctoral student, I was very surprised to learn of the vast need to understand how college students are academically impacted by social determinants. Universities are not equipped to address these issues.
I would be interested in academic successes among students with moderate or high ACES.
We are not currently doing any research on this to my knowledge. However, I would be interested in learning more about how ACES affects Higher Ed students as well as retention rates.
I would have made a great guinea pig for such a study -- thirty years ago .
I'm excited at the prospect of collaborating with folks on this issue. Our group (at Harper College) is new and our first task is likely to focus on conducting a literature review next semester. Have folks seen this: https://www.mprnews.org/story/...hildhood-experiences ?
Thanks for sharing the info about Minnesota Andrew! I posted this to the newly created UC Davis ACEs Connection site. Wondering if anyone knows anyone from Minnesota to tell us how universities have been raising awareness about ACEs and building resilience within their campus communities?
