Has anyone done any research on Aphantasia (the inability to visualize) with trauma victims?

Janie,
When I worked with survivors of domestic violence I found this to be more true than not. I began integrating Qi Gong into my practice at the beginning of each empowerment session. I found the focused movement allowed for survivors to quiet the voices of the past and the current stresses enough to dream and visualize. I use a very simple routine which incorporates at the end visualization. I had clients who began doing it on their own outside of empowerment group with self-reported, positive results.
I'd be happy to chat anytime with more information. All of my information is anecdotal.
Thank you Dr Cathy for responding to my post . I would like to talk to you some time perhaps next week. I will send a private message soon. At this time I am working on a program to help young children to understand how their brains work and to open their minds to learning.

I love the kidspiration cover and think the whole thing is an ingenious idea.
Thank you Josie. Now I need to find a way to get it to those who can use it.
Hello Janie,
This looks really interesting. We are currently working with a school here in the U.K. implementing trauma informed/sensitive practices. I wonder if your work would be of benefit to them?
