Hi all. I work for a nonprofit in Arkansas and some of our missions and goals allow us to advocate for ACE's. We are wanting to start helping this population more and targeting our efforts so I had a question for those of you who work with ACEs in AR. Arkansas is ranks as one of the worst for ACEs scores, but what are the specific areas or counties where we see it the most? Where should we target our efforts. Thank you!

Hello Grace,
Glad you wrote us.
There are some people doing work in AR with whom I connected recently who may be able to help. Let me check in with them and be back in touch so I can connect you?
If there is any other information youβd like to send to me, my email is csipp@pacesconnection.com.
Iβd also recommend your taking our Creating Resilient Communities intro class on using PACEs Connection. Itβs free and our staff can show you how to use the βMember Searchβ option to find others in AR. There is also information that could be valuable for you in our Resources section.

Hi Grace,
As a starting point, I found this map on the number of ACEs by county in AR based on 2016 data:
https://www.pacesconnection.co...23v2.0%20%281%29.pdf
Looks like the NE region has a particularly high rate of 4 or more ACEs.
Might be worthwhile to reach out to AFMC to see if they have an updated map and also the work they've been doing to support communities disproportionately impacted by ACEs. Here's their contact info: https://afmc.org/contact-us/
Hope this is helpful!
