Hi - wondering if anyone has developed or is aware of any resources / guidelines / scripts / suggested language for newly trained contact tracing folks to ensure they use trauma informed language and protocols in their communications with the people they're contacting about COVID exposure. If you know of any resources you could share, that would be terrific! Thanks!

I would be interested in this as well! We are doing a brief training video on the services offered by our County, but I'd love to be able to offer a trauma-informed lens/script to our Health Department partners.
Hi all, Not sure if this would meet your need but we did give some guidelines in the tip sheet on developing a script.

I just completed a contact tracing course. The trauma -sensitive communication model that was taught is Marshall Rosenberg's Compassionate Communication Skills.
To see more, go to the Center for Nonviolent Communication at cnvc.org
I have practiced this model in person, over the phone, via email, for years.
It works for me. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks so much, Lee Ann - this is fantastic! VERY Helpful! I'll pass it along to our contact tracing folks as well as other service providers. Hope you are well.
