The Family Policy Council in Washington State offered a good deal of information on worker productivity, unemployment and disability related absences linked to potential ACEs.  Laura Porter and Krista Goldstine-Cole produced some PowerPoint presentations that were shared with the Community Network system a number of years ago for our use within our communities. The data is a bit dated but still paints a good picture of the hits to the bottom line when workers are struggling with the physical and emotional toll too often associated with ACEs.  There is also this:

This week I am going to a small business showcase in our local region to promote support for early learning and encourage businesses to consider it a good investment in their future.  If you want to see an increase in positive graduation rates and have better prepared workers in your place of employment, start before pre-school!
