I work in the community on an initiative that links trauma informed care with youth involved in the child welfare section. Recently, I got stumped by an audience member who asked:
“What evidence can you share that demonstrates the effectiveness of trauma informed care in seniors and disabled adults?”
Would anyone be able to share some resources with me?

Two of our partners in the HEARTS Initiative in Albany NY are working on integrating trauma informed services for seniors and adults with disabilities. I will be happy to link you with them.
Leslie -- Is one of those Senior Hope? They were featured in a story I did on their early efforts in 2012.
That seems like eons ago, in ACEs time, doesn't it?

Troy, NY Housing Authority has a trauma-informed/ACEs related initiative abutting Albany. I believe Heather Larkin [maiden name; I forget her now married name] has an ample evidence base at SUNY Albany concerning these and other ACEs and Trauma-Informed Initiatives.
