I would love to compile a list of favored training programs and curriculums that our coalition could use for various training throughout the year... please share!

Hi Abby,
My organization, Catalyst Center is hosting a series of Free, Virtual live ACEs Aware Supplemental Provider Trainings from July 21st - August 25th. CME and CEU credits are available. These trainings are designed for healthcare providers of all specialties (not just in psychology/psychiatry). They go over physical effects of ACEs, importance of ACE screening, HOW to implement ACE screenings and address toxic stress, and more. Our earliest upcoming Provider Training is for the San Diego Region on July 21st at 10AM PT but providers can sign up for any training that fits their schedule.

We have been building a series of online trauma training modules for anyone to use. We would love any feedback as we continue to refine the content. (Please note: we are in the process of updating links after moving documents to a new Google Workspace.).
Take a look at Mind Matters: Overcoming Adversity and Building Resilience!
Mind Mattersâ lessons teach people aged 12 and up to heal from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and other negative experiences with innovative methods based on current research and neuroscience. These skills give individuals a way to take charge of their emotions and improve their states of mind. Participants learn to address their physical, relational, and mental health needs.
What's unique about Mind Matters is that it can be taught by non-clinicians to both groups and individuals. It's in use in 34 states in schools, child welfare, corrections, home visitation programs and with adult first responders and community PACEs coalitions.
Let me know if you would like me to send you an online review copy!

We use Positive Discipline - which is a curriculum that aims to create a space where everyone is safe, belongs and know they matter. It is founded on brain-science and aims toward restorative practices in the form of structured class meetings. It has been remarkably successful in the schools we've worked with. It starts with the adults which results in remarkable shifts in practice. Would be glad to chat about it. It is very affordable and there are trainers all over the world who can share it. (Translated into many languages as well).
