Dear Administrators of the website,

Acesconnection is becoming more popular. Sooner or later, this may attract members that do not have the purest of intentions.

Today I received a private message that looked a lot like spam email.

It may be time to introduce some kind of "report suspicious activity" button.

Otherwise our members who are concerned about childhood trauma may be tricked by a scammer.

I just received this message from ACEs Connection this morning. Let me know if there is something I can do on my end to assist with weeding out spam messages.

Below is the message I received:

"New Private Message
Subject: Hello
Mary Josephine

Greetings and how are you today? I hope you're fine. However I am very glad to come across your contact, I'm Dr. Mary Josephine 48 years old, I am from Phnom Penh Cambodia. I've something very important to discuss with you, please contact me on my e-mail (mary.josephine19@yahoo.com) I will be very delighted to hear from you soon. Have a great day and remain blessed.

Best regards,
Dr. Mary Josephine."

I received an identical message today.

I believe that spam may become an issue in a heart-centered community like ACEsconnection as scammers would learn how to appeal to pathos and to acquire money or personal data for malicious purposes.

It would be easier to take preventive measures early on than to fight off spam after it will become a widespread problem.
