I'm part of a development team for a new trauma-informed bullying prevention and safe and supportive schools program (The National Urban Technology Center and Education Innovation) and we're looking for short (3 to 5 minutes) trauma-informed videos about cyber-bullying, either informational or narrative. The digital educational tool has a music video narrative and wrap-around curriculum, and it uses storytelling, role-playing, and critical reflection approaches to build skills in empathy, mindfulness, and emotionally-attuned relationships. The audience age is 4th through 9th grade. The videos would be used as supplemental for both added information and stories to give context, meaning, and understanding to all aspects of TIC bullying prevention (including, stress-response mode, empathic connections, neurobiology, strengths-based learning, restorative discipline, mentalization, and mindfulness). PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW OF TIC SHORT FILMS --OK FOR KIDS --IN THESE CATEGORIES.

Hello Jennifer! I am a child psychiatrist and poet/lyricist. Please take a look and listen to The Tears You Cry which is on bullying: https://youtu.be/A4noRxyb9xc. I can be reached at artsmedicine@hotmail.com. Best wishes on your worthwhile project! Diane
Diane, thank you so much. Your lyrics are beautiful!! Also, I love the words and imagery in your graphics.

Thank you, Jennifer! I also wrote a children's book on bullying, Bird That Wants to Fly. Amazingly, it inspired a children's opera, and is narrated by the actor Danny Glover. Here's the book on Amazon and links to the opera: https://www.amazon.com/Bird-Wa...aufman/dp/1490320970, https://www.rovenrecords.com/bird-that-wants-to-fly, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFZt69uBpnc. Please let me know if you find use for the song, book, and/or opera. Many thanks and best wishes! Diane
Check out the StopBullying.gov channel on YouTube. We just released new content on being an upstander that helps prevent bullying (https://youtu.be/StPGbbBBrI0) and there's lots of good content and an infographic on cyberbullying on the website.
Yes!! We're linking to that website and reference it a lot! Also, connecting kids to that video! Thank you!
This video series is great: https://amaze.org/?topic=personal-safety
