Hi everyone!

I host and produce The Healing Place Podcast (you can listen to past episodes directly from my website or on iTunes and Blubrry). I am looking for anyone interested in joining me on air to discuss motivational stories, inspirational tales, healing, hope, positive developments in the world of ACEs and trauma-informed care, therapy modalities, etc. I have done Skype interviews, phone interviews, and face-to-face. And I am totally flexible to times (day, evening, or weekend).

If you are interested, please send me a message so we can put a date on the calendar.

Thank you!

Peace,

Teri Wellbrock

Hello Teri,

Thanks for your thoughtful post. The area I focus on is secondary trauma and staff wellness, which I believe are key (though often overlooked) subjects to address when promoting and sustaining successful Trauma Informed Care and Educational Services. Indeed the quality of support and care that staff provide to each other will be reflected in how well they are able to support their clients or students.  These are some of the themes that emerge in our story driven documentary film:  PORTRAITS OF PROFESSIONAL CAREGIVERS: THEIR PASSION. THEIR PAIN. A trailer and additional info is on our website at www.caregiversfilm.com. I’ve enjoyed participating in a number of interviews which are podcasted on our website.

Would be happy to talk with you about an interview if you’d like to be in touch.

All the best,

Vic

Hi Teri:

I recently produced a documentary film License to Parent. The film deals with the parenting problems in this country and what we can do to help parents be better at the job of parenting. We interviewed parents who had their kids taken away and had to work hard to get them back,  a young man in the foster care system who dealt with years of abuse, and several programs that are making a difference for parents.  I would be interested in discussing our film on your podcast.

Teri! I visit your website and I immediately see a kindred spirit. I also host a podcast (called Going There) which is all about intimate conversations and stories with folks who've had the 'emotional shit' kicked out of them whether through trauma, sexual identity, etc.

My style is incredibly relatable and down-to-earth...I love to find the silver linings (hope) and am an open book. I personally love to share about my healing journey from childhood trauma (so many twists and turns as I'm sure you can relate), learning to self-parent, working through chronic loneliness, my own work as an Emotional Wellbeing Coach, and lots more. I don't sugarcoat my truths and love getting uncomfortable all in the spirit of helping others feel less alone (including myself).

My media page has a list of shows I've done along with other topics I love to discuss.

I'd love to chat more if you're interested whether it's for your podcast or just to connect with someone who 'gets it'.

Hi Vic,

First off . . . wow. I just watched your film trailer on the website. Tears fell as I related to some of those testimonials. I worked for a mental health agency in school settings and found myself calling my own children on my way home from work some days, crying and expressing my overwhelming love for them. The toll on me emotionally, having just started to cipher through my own trauma-history and coming to an understanding of my C-PTSD diagnosis, was more difficult than I had anticipated as I encountered trauma realities happening in the student's lives. Thankfully, a few team members (in management and peers) were supportive and knowledgeable in trauma-informed approaches and helped me learn positive coping mechanisms.

Second . . . yes, yes, yes! Please. I would love to set up a Skype or phone interview. I will send the podcast questions to the email address listed above. It will be coming from thehealingplacepodcast@gmail.com (just in case it pops into your spam folder so you can retrieve it).

Thank you!

Peace,

Teri

Hi George,

Goosebumps watching that trailer. Extremely powerful. Kudos to you for taking on such a difficult and important subject. I would be honored to have you on air to discuss your film.

I will check your profile for an email and send you the podcast questions and my contact information so we can set up a date/time. I am flexible with my schedule (the perks of owning my own businesses) so I can do day, evening or weekend interviews. Whatever works for you.

Thank you for your willingness to share your story with our audience.

Peace,

Teri

Holy crap! I think I love you. Instant connection with everything about you and your site. I need to spend the entire day reading everything you've ever written. For real. I will definitely check out your podcast, too. I have most certainly had the "emotional shit" kicked out of me (I score a 10 out of 10 on the ACEs survey). Yet, I am a glitter shitter . . . or as you word it on your website "annoyingly positive". We totally need to connect. Either via our podcasts or new social media besties. I adore everything about your website. Whoever created it . . . brilliant vision.

I'd love to have you on air to share your philosophies, mission, goals, annoying positivity, and no-fucks approach to dealing with pain. I'd also love to share your site on my social media sites.

I am flexible with my schedule so day, night, or even weekend interviews via Skype or phone. Real and honest conversation with a mic between us. I'll private message you my podcast questions for your review. Then let's get a date/time on the calendar. I'm super excited!

Peace,

Teri

Hi Teri! I host the Real Life Resilience podcast and I teach people how to write their life stories in order to overcome trauma. I'd love to share some knowledge around that.

Hi Stacy!

I just checked out your website. I love it. "Helping ordinary people tell their extraordinary stories" . . . beautiful! I am in the process of finishing up my teaching memoir. I submitted the book proposal to Hay House Publishing for a Writers' Workshop contest last month. Just the process of writing out my traumas, positive lessons learned, and healing exercises has been a healing journey in and of itself for me. Thank you for helping others learn to release and heal through writing.

I would absolutely love to have you on air to discuss your mission and promote your services. I am a huge fan of offering hope to others via a variety of avenues. And supporting like-minded trauma warriors.

I will reach out via private message with the podcast questions and contact info so we can set up a date/time for a Skype or phone interview. I am available day, evening, or even on weekends. Whatever is convenient for you.

Take care,

Teri

Hi Dean,

Thank you for reaching out! I would be honored to have you (and/or Carolyn) join me on air to share your philosophies for healing our ailing world. I have visited both websites and am drawn to the idea of reconnecting to self, others, and earth - what a perfect subject for my podcast.

I will send you the questions I usually discuss on air so you have a feel for what guests talk about. Also, feel free to listen in to past episodes on my website, iTunes or Blubrry.

I look forward to setting up an interview date soon.
