HI Amy - check out the media tab on the navigation bar on the home page. LOTS of great utube videos, podcasts, etc.
I think Hidden Brain, Reveal and Otherhood are excellent podcasts that may not directly speak to Adverse Childhood Experiences but definitely look at issues that contribute to Adverse Community Environments. For more storytelling podcasts, I recommend Risk! and Snap Judgement. I just got a good tip about Ear Hustle which is broadcast out of San Quentin but I have not gotten into it yet. Finally I absolutely loved Atlanta Monster which is no longer airing but was mind blowing on so many levels.
I host the Real Life Resilience: Stories of Recovery From Life's Most Difficult Trauma podcast which indirectly addresses those issues.
The School of Social Work at Buffalo has an excellent collection of podcasts on trauma and trauma informed practice https://socialwork.buffalo.edu...es-insocialwork.html
Nadine Burke Harris' TED Talk is only 18 minutes - and knocks it out of the park!
In case you're still interested, I actually have a podcast... I'm a former neuroscience researcher turned school counselor and have been teaching about neuroscience, resilience and social justice for many years all over the world! Episode 3 cover the neurobiology of trauma and psychological safety.
Thanks for all the recommendations . I have also found 2 that I really liked:
1. On Being with Krista Tippet - How trauma and Resilience Cross generations
2. Kera's Think - Health Consequences of a Terrible childhood
Oh thanks! I enjoy Krista Tippet, I didn't know she had a podcast!

Hey Stefanie! I'm creating an emotional abuse recovery and resilience summit. I'm currently looking for speakers to interview. If you're interested (or anyone else who might be interested) feel free to email me at stacy@stacybrookman.com. I've just got one landing page up so far http://www.stacybrookman.com/summit/ with no auto responder hooked up yet Just in the beginning stages but it will give you an idea of what it will be about.
