Post ACEs Phone Survey

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! I am a Prevention Specialist in Fredericksburg VA. We are starting this year to use ACEs in conjunction with our parenting program. Before I recreate the wheel I was wondering if anyone has a post survey that can be given over the phone. We were thinking about surveying past participants 3, 6 and 12 months out from the date of completion of their first ACEs survey. We are just getting started with this initiative and would welcome any support/wisdom that anyone can impart on us. Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

We wanted to give the participants the ACEs survey once during class and then do a follow up survey that incorporates components from both the ACEs survey and our DARE To Be You curriculum. The AAPI-2 survey sounds like a great resource. Would you mind sharing?

During my state's BRFSS (Behavioral Risk Factor Survey Study), I received a call from the 'Sub-Contractor' (Northrup-Grumman) doing the survey for our state public health department. Since they [the caller] were not familiar with ACEs at the time of the call, I explained a bit about ACEs, then politely excused myself from participating in their BRFSS survey-which had no ACE questions at the time. Enough states [at least 32] do include ACE questions in their annual BRFSS, I hope that may avail you some data.
