I was wondering if anyone out there knows of or has created a preamble to explain ACEs specifically for adults with low literacy? We have developed a manual for our service providers but are hoping to have a more simple version for clients that have a lower literacy level. Anything in this area would help me out. Thanks!

The "Western Center for Health Planning" (one of ten [Health Planning] 'Technical Assistance Centers' published "Is your Health Systems Planning Agency's Newsletter Readable?" and explained how to do a "Readability Analysis" /Literacy Grade Level.
The UUSC used a lithograph of a painting by an 'Illiterate Haitian Artist' ("Maree Humaine")-which was hung in the lobby of the UN Bldg in NYC), to attract attention to health clinics they were doing in Haiti, when many Haitian parents were having 5 babies so that two would at least reach age 12. ---
