Have there been any study's involving faith based interventions for ACEs and building resilience?

Yes. University of California Merced studied the efficacy of ACE Overcomers ( a faith based program) and found the curriculum to demonstrate measurable benefits. Their study will be published in the CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT Journal in May. Contact me I I can send you a link.

I'd love a link to this as well! I'm with FaithTrust Institute and we're an multi-faith education non-profit that focuses on the prevention of child abuse, domestic and sexual violence.
HI Sarah and Rebecca. I want to be sure you know about our ACEs in the Faith Based community on ACEs Connection - a place to connect and learn about how the faith communites are integrating ACE science. Dave Lockridge is active on there as well!

Rebecca,
Please see the link below to access the UC Merced study of ACE Overcomers.
Thanks for the responses Dave and Gail. I have accessed the UC Merced Study and will check it out. I am aware of the ACEs in the Faith Based community on ACEs Connection and am very aware of Chris Haughees work as I am based here in Helena, MT and he is a member of our group. I am researching a question that another member of our group asked and who is a Methodist Minister. She was wondering if there was any actual research and data on the efficacy of faith based interventions. If you know of other study's out there, pass them along. Thanks again. Rebecca
I, too, am very interested in this area. I am giving a presentation to youth ministers and catechists in our diocese next week. It's only an hour, so will barely scratch the surface. Hoping they are intrigued and will want to learn more!
