Hello, 
I joined this community in order to gain valuable information about ACE's and how I can support children who experience them. I am going to school for psychology with a minor in education and have been volunteering for an organization that allows me to work with children who may experience adversity. I am currently exploring career options and looking for valuable resources to aid my career decisions and professional development. I am trying to decide how to pursue a career that allows me to work with children and make a meaningful difference in their lives. I have been leaning towards a career as a School Psychologist because it incorporates psychology, education, and the opportunity to provide a meaningful service. I would love to hear about some of the career opportunities that allow for this same kind of experience and want to learn more about the non-profit sector. I have been able to find some useful resources from this site but would love some personal insights, opinions, and experiences from professionals that work in this type of field. Any insights or resources to help me learn about some different opportunities to grow as a person and professional would be very much appreciated!
