Seeking a consultant

Janice Cyr- the [national] SPSCOT (State Personnel Systems Coalition on Trauma) Network [based in Maine/headed by Ann Jennings] may be one source, for a consultant. There is also a collaborative trauma group based at SUNY-Albany, headed up by ACEsConnection member, Heather Larkin. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Philadelphia, may also be of help (They [RWJF] published the "Community Resilience Cookbook" which notes ten trauma initiatives: 9 in the U.S. and the Alberta Family Wellness Project in Alberta Canada). ACEsConnection staff may have further particulars, as well as other possible consultant sources.

Janice, the National Council on Behavioral Health has folks that consult on building trauma-informed primary care clinics.  You may also be interested in the resources now available through the Center for Health Care Strategies and their Trauma-Informed Care Implementation Resource Center: https://www.traumainformedcare.chcs.org/
