I am working at a domestic and sexual assault support center. My role is ACE's Child Advocate and I am trying to reach communities that are not receiving this information otherwise. I have been thinking about doing a support group for the local substance abuse treatment center but was looking for ideas that may be effective as opposed to the traditional support group model. I am also interested in any additional resources that I could use. Thank you in advanced for any ideas you may have.

Please consider reviewing our resources, Beyond Trauma, Healing Trauma and Exploring Trauma. They would be very effective in group settings you are referring to. Let me know if you'd like more information. You can also visit the following links:
Thank you for these suggestions. Unfortunately, we are a non profit with not a large budget so things like these tools are out of our reach.
This would be very helpful in rural Montana where I live. I want to start a recovery support group for NA members interested in diving a bit deeper. I have tried for months to figure out how to start a initiative of my own and nobody can train me I am also an advocate in the recovery community so this is something that would be easy for me to do but having someone help me would be amazing. I work in a group home with teenage boys who have experienced and and in depth sexual trauma there's really a need for help here
