I'm looking for a guide to work with kids from drug impacted homes in a school setting, meeting as a club.  Some are still living with the using parents and some have been removed and living with other family members or foster families.  Thank you for any ideas.  I live in western NC where our social determinants are very low, with substance, poverty, no jobs, homeless, no hope.

I humbly suggest that what I have put together may be a partial answer for your query.  I am on a mission to provide at least a million children with this practical, supportive and capability-enhancing material.  It's a handbook just released on Amazon, particularly for times like we're in, but initially started to help situations more like you describe. Marshfield, Massachusetts recently started a group they are calling "Something To Chew On" which meets at the middle school at lunch time. It is a professionally facilitated, skills-based group by Caron (Caron calls it Kids of Promise) https://www.caron.org/our-prog...gram/kids-of-promise

The group costs $1500 for 8 weeks (1 meeting per week) and there is limited grant funding available from Caron. The local community coalition for substance use prevention (Marshfield FACTS) is supporting the Marshfield group by purchasing lunch for participants.
