Hi I was just wondering if anyone has any info on school policy relating to a terrorist attack (whether it's a local or national attack) and its management with pupils and parents/carers?
I ask as it came to my attention post the Manchester bombing that many schools do not have one. I have become aware that information shared with children and adults relating to the incident has been stilted at best, and that information I thought would have been shared wasn't. A couple of schools have now expressed interest in finding out ways to better manage the situation if it happens in the future. Any ideas or pointers esp to trauma-informed policy/practice would be appreciated.
Thanks
