Our local paper 'Valley News' reported (December 2, 2017] a new local [Elder Abuse pre- / inter- vention endeavor],that involves the Police Chief [Phillip Kasten] of Hartford, Vermont, and Abby Tassel-the trauma-informed resource person at our local Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Center ("WISE") [just across the 'river' in Lebanon, New Hampshire],.. as well as Windsor County [Vt.] Special Investigation Unit Director [Julie Gaudette], and a few other representatives from a few other local service agencies.
Our Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department is implementing/using a 'Trauma-Informed model'--which had a blog item already posted in ACEsConnection, which may elaborate on trauma-informed interview techniques they use..
