Hello
I would like to have my staff trained in Trauma Informed Workplace Skills. Does anyone here offer that, and if so, can it be online?

Kate,
Good Harbor Institute offers trauma informed workplace training. Currently we do not offer this training online, however; we specialize in creating customized content for organizations. Would you have time for a call?

The Institute on Trauma and Trauma Informed Care from the University of Buffalo has an initial online training for companies. It is a really great series that any organization can begin the paradigm shift into trauma informed care. https://socialwork.buffalo.edu.../online-modules.html
Hi Kate,
I have been in touch with Patricia Burbano out of HRSA Office of Women's Health in Rockville, MD. I am uncertain if you are a part of their COIN collaborative, but I am going to be their guest speaker on a conference call - January 24th at 2:30. I will be describing the systems approach training that I offer in order to help folks build capacity for becoming a trauma-informed organization/system.
If participating in that conversation interests you, let me know and I will see if you can join us.
Also, my January 2 day workshop in building a trauma-informed system is full. But I will offer it again in March (March 6 & 7th).
Best,
Emily Daniels, M.Ed., MBA, NCC, SEPâĒ in training

Hi Kate,
for workplaces moving to being trauma informed you may like to look over the Australian practice guidelines which include processes for services to develop across their workplace from front desk to therapist including consideration of documentation, waiting room layout etc. It is free to download from here: https://www.blueknot.org.au/AB.../Practice-Guidelines
