Hi all,
I am interested in learning more about trauma informed practices and ACE and how they can be applied to emergency preparedness activities. If you have any resources you could share I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
Jen

Hi, Jen -- Kathy Hentcy asked a similarΒ question in a discussion she postedΒ recently. Chris Engel provided some info, but this seems to be new territory. Maybe you two could get together to discuss, start a group? Also, if you're interested in training first responders to be trauma-informed, you could contact Kimberly Shultz, who's been doing this with the San Diego Trauma-Informed Guide Team.Β
Cheers, Jane
Hi Jen,
This is a good document even though it was written with schools in mind:

You may also want to take a look at this related discussion thread:

I did some research for Kathy that you might want to explore. Please check out what others contributed, too.
