You might take a look at the Mind Matters: Overcoming Adversity and Building Resilience Program. It teaches people aged 12 and up to respond to prior trauma and negative experiences with innovative methods based on current research and neuroscience. These skills give individuals a way to take charge of their emotions and improve their states of mind. Participants learn to address their physical, relational, and mental health needs.
We are currently offering a free 12 week Mind Matters class for adults. You can sign up here.
We had the first class this week. You can watch a replay here.
If you would like a free 15 day online review copy of Mind Matters teachers manual, email Rebecca @DibbleInstitute.org and she will send you the link.
Hi Carla,
My 20-year old company , Ripple Effects, provides trauma informed mental health and SEL on line instructional programs for self directed usage by teens - we are making home use available to all our client districts at no charge through June 15. And non client districts can request free use as well for at least the next 6 weeks (contact me at: lbrentano@rippleeffects.com .

I gathered the exercises of ACEs IMMUNITY for teens and adults. It is in video format and each is relatively easy to learn. Think of an emotional gym where you work out the full range of emotions. Not directly therapy but profoundly therapeutic and resilience is the natural result of practice over time. It takes 4 hours to lean the 4 exercises and no professional training is really needed. All the teacher has to do is have practiced the exercises well enough to teach them.
This is meant to be done at home and in a school setting. And it works better and more effectively in large groups. After the exercises are learned, all 4 can be done in 45min to an hour. It is free of cost. Adversity and stress happens from the outside in. Healing happens from the inside out. So must be inner-directed and experienced.

Hi Carla,
I created a free public health "guest speaker" series for high school students about the pandemic, including this video on resilience strategies for teens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYju6TaqqqM
