HI Joyelle- I wanted to point you to the Becoming Trauma-Informed and Beyond community on ACEs Connection. There are some resources there that might help.
Hi Joyelle. I highly recommend The Sanctuary Model. The website is full of free articles and resources on how to create a trauma informed workplace.

Joyelle:
I've been meaning to get back to you. It's hard to know where to start but when you go in the Becoming Trauma Informed & Beyond Community, dig into the resources for download for some guidance as well as the blog posts.
Also, the Resources Center has A LOT of info. as well. Plus, there's A LOT of articles on this site, and blog posts. There's still nothing like talking to others like @Dawn Daum who are tackling this in the workplace and in a similar place/space.
If you have a more specific question you are likely to get more replies. It's a BIG and important question.
Also, do a search for Becoming a TI workplace (on this site, especially) and you will see how many others have asked this question and all the wonderful community wisdom. I hope that helps!

Joyelle,
The resources provided by Trauma Informed Oregon are really helpful. In particular, their Resources for Organizations (https://traumainformedoregon.org/resources/) will provide concrete steps and tools for an organization to self-assess and develop a plan to fully implement TIC practices. I love the roadmap document they have developed. The organization website is www.traumainformedoregon.org.
