I am looking for a survey to administer to foster and pre-adoptive and adoptive parents. Any suggestions of one that has already been created and put into use?

Hi! Can you share what kind of info you are looking to identify with such a survey? I have a couple ideas in mind but don't know if they would fit what you need.
Melissa, thank you. I am interested in learning what foster parents know about trauma. What they understand about the effects of trauma on behavior and learning.
I use the original ACE Questionaire as a screen and a teaching opportunity.
Though not all inclusive it opens many conversations and immediately individuals feel relieved to know that it is not what is wrong with them but what happened to them.
It also initiates a relationship in which both parties have the opportunity to create trust and security.
Adrenergia, whether triggered by loneliness, violence, poverty, or racism is the etiology of the personal and community pathologies.
That reality calls a PACE aware caregiver or organization to the opportunity of creating trust, safety, apprioriate social interventions, and inclusiveness in all interactions.
Now that we know, anything less is simply less than and unacceptable.

Gotcha! The ones I was thinking of are not something of this nature. I am curious to see what others share.
If you are working with foster parents, hope you will consider using our brochure designed for parents and caretakers about childhood trauma. Our focus groups included foster parents. It is available in eight languages (attaching to this email in English and Spanish), and I am working on a version where the resource panel can be deleted so that locally available resources can be inserted:
